Cornville, Maine – Wiiliam Joseph Foster, 55, passed away at Maine Medical Center in Portland on Sept. 23, 2026, with family by his side.

He was born in Bradenton, Florida on August 9, 1971. The son of George and Donna Foster (Lessard). He attended Skowhegan Area High School. He married the love of his life on August 25, 1990. He has been a self-employed carpenter for 30 plus years. He was an avid hunter.

Family is everything to him. He was the rock we all needed. He loved to have get-togethers and cook for everyone. His children and grandchildren are his pride and joy.

He is predeceased by his mother Donna Foster, sister Jessie LaBarge, brothers-in-law Michal Jones and Ed Leclair.

William is survived by his father George Foster, wife Laurie Foster, children Danielle & Devon Foster (Dewey), Billy & Kayla Foster, Grandchildren Olivia Foster, Westen Dewey, Alaina Foster, brother George & Christine Foster, David & Kim Foster, and many special nieces and nephews. Brother-in-law David & Angela Penna, sister-in-law Ann Lawler, and mother-in-law Rita Kimball. And his good friends Steve Conant & Bruce Quirion.

A Celebration of Life will be held October 11, 2026, at T+Bs Celebration Center in Skowhegan at 2:00 PM.
