Obituary

North Anson - Frost, Wendall D. The family of Wendall D. Frost is saddened to share the news of his passing on February 15, 2025. He was born on April 30, 1955, in Waterville, Maine. Wendall is survived by his wife, Kay, his daughter, Tiffany Frost, and her significant other Keith Dillon, and their son, James of Starks, his brother Lyle Frost (his wife Cheryl) of Florida, his three sisters Darlene Robbins of Waterville, Melody Warren (her husband Terry) of Mercer, and Darla McGuire (her husband Peter) of Augusta. He is predeceased by his parents Lyle & Arlene Frost and his siblings Franklyn Frost, Arnold Frost, Melvin Frost, Sylvia Davis, Letecia Brown, and Olene Hasson. There wasn't a job Wendall couldn't do. He spent time working in the woods with Charlie and Roger Davis. Wendall had a passion for working on heavy equipment. He started his mechanic career at Warren and Kincaid in Smithfield, Maine where he built a wheeler truck from the frame up with David Kincaid. Wendall could work on everything around the garage. He then went to work at Waste Management in Norridgewock and later in his career he spent his days working for Fleet Services in Gardiner. When Wendall retired and moved to Tennessee, he couldn't put down his tools. He continued helping his good friend Randy work on equipment from time to time in his shop. Wendall will be remembered for his love of hunting and fishing. He enjoyed two bear hunts, an elk hunt, moose hunts and countless hours of deer hunting and fishing with friends and family. His best hunting stories include those of his hunting days with Stan and Brad. He also enjoyed campfires with his friends and family gathered around as he played guitar and sang songs. He and Roger would practice singing on their CB radios in the Maine woods during their workdays. Wendall also enjoyed the time he spent singing in a local band, Country Expressions, with the Bickford family. Wendall's greatest blessing in life was becoming a grandfather to James, whom he loved endlessly. Together, they enjoyed riding tractors, lawnmowers, and side-by-sides. Wendall took immense pride in sharing the exceptional driving skills James showed. The bond Wendall shared with his little boy will be eternal. A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date.
