Hinckley – Troy Dean Steward, 56, passed away far too soon on Monday, June 30, 2025, at Maine Medical Center in Portland. Troy was born in Skowhegan on February 21, 1969, son to Donald "Bing" Charles and Vivian "Bib" Blanche (Harrington) Steward. He was educated in area schools and participated in many special Olympic events. He was employed through the Skills program as a clothing sorter. Troy enjoyed going out to eat and having the best time at his family's gatherings and cookouts. He loved his collection of more than a thousand hats and sharing his joy with his brother Mark. He was predeceased by both his parents. Troy is survived by his brothers Donald Steward with his wife Toni and their children Tab and Nick, Ronald Steward, Steven Steward with his partner Jeff Phillips, Mark Steward and Kevin Steward with his wife Mary and their children Linda, Kimmy and Robert; his sister Kim Teixeira with her husband Owen and their children Riley and Kody, along with many friends. Troy was loved by many and will be deeply missed. A graveside service will be held at Forest Hill Cemetery in Madison on August 4, 2025, at 1:00pm.
