Thomas Micheal "Tom-Mike" Sproul
April 1, 1959 - June 26, 2025
Thomas Micheal Sproul, lovingly known by friends and family as "Tom-Mike," passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at the age of 66, with his beloved wife and grandson by his side. Tom-Mike was born on April 1, 1959, in Weymouth, Massachusetts, to Mary-Ann (Condon) Wolfe and Robert W. Sproul, and was later raised with love by his mother and stepfather, Richard Wolfe. He graduated from Rockland High School in 1978, where he was a standout athlete in track and field, earning numerous awards and winning many races. His drive, discipline, and team spirit were hallmarks of his youth.
Following graduation, Tom-Mike proudly enlisted in the United States Navy and served in the Seabees, a branch known for its strength, resilience, and dedication to building and service. After his military service, he worked as a machinist before finding his true calling in the woods as an arborist-a job that reflected both his physical strength and deep appreciation for nature. Later in life, after retiring due to physical impairments, Tom-Mike continued to work with his hands and mind as a locksmith until his final retirement.
Tom-Mike was the life of the party-always ready with a laugh, a story, and a whole lot of heart. He had a deep love for his motorcycle, never missed a good poker game, and treasured every moment spent with his family. His loyalty and devotion were unmatched, and so was his legendary stubborn side. A natural storyteller, he left everyone he met with a smile and a tale to remember-especially the unforgettable Pink Gorilla story, which became a rite of passage for anyone lucky enough to know him.
