Norridgewock - Thaniel C. (Chuck) Smith III, 46, passed away on October 05, 2023, at Redington Fairview General Hospital with family by his side. Thaniel was born June 27, 1977, in Farmington, son of Thaniel (Smitty) Smith Sr. and Marita Tracy. He graduated from Mt. Blue High School in 1994.

Thaniel was a jack of all trades, specializing in roofing, painting, and working the county fairs. He was a member of the grange growing up. He enjoyed being outside and spending time with family and friends, always willing to help anyone.

He is predeceased by both his parents and sister Patricia Smith.

He is survived by his fiancée Bobbie-Jean Pinkham, two daughters Destiny Smith and Elizabeth Barker, grandchildren, step-children, step-grandchildren, and siblings; Frances (Frannie) Smith, Nicholas Smith, Barbara Bacheler, Lori Dulac, Lisa Wright, Thaniel (Babe) Smith Jr, Peggy Smith, Cindy Dubois, many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and close friends.

We are holding a celebration of life for him at the VFW Hall 58 Preble Avenue Madison Maine on Sunday October, 29, 2023, from 3pm to 6pm.
