EMBDEN - Sylvia L. Bishop, 75, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on January 18th, 2024. Sylvia was born on May 8th, 1948, in Skowhegan, Maine. She was an in-home caregiver for the elderly for many years, though was most proud of being a mother.

She was predeceased by her grandparents Lynville and Sylvia Mullin of Embden whom she loved and cherished her entire life; and parents Christie and Bernard “Bun” Bishop of North Anson. Sylvia is survived by her children Gene Frith and his wife Sandra of Embden, Pamela Frith of Bath, and Bernard Frith and his wife Monica of North Anson; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and friends.

Her love of the ocean and animals will forever stay with us as we think of the memories that we hold dear when we think of her. She will be forever missed by many.

A celebration of life will be held at the home of Gene and Sandra Frith in the spring.
