Skowhegan - Stephanie M. (Durost) Wass, 45, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2023 at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor. Stephanie was born on January 17, 1978, to Walter and Noreen (Day) Durost, in Caribou, Maine. She was so special to everyone who knew her. She loved watching ID & LMN on TV. That was her passion.

She is predeceased by her dad Walter Durost Jr., both grandfathers and grandmothers, her uncle Andrew J Day, and her aunt Carla J Buzzell.

Stephanie is survived by her husband Leslie Wass of Skowhegan, “son” Jayden Wass of Skowhegan, mom Noreen Durost of Skowhegan, brother Jeremy Durost and fiancé Melissa Knight, her special niece Graciana, several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. She will also be missed by her special friend, Robyn Carrow of Dexter.

A celebration of life will take place at a later date TBD.
