-Sharon Lee Mumley, 55 passed away on July 30th, 2023.
-She was born in Skowhegan on August 2nd, 1967. The daughter of Linda Doiron (Stewart), and Robert Doiron.
Sharon attended and graduated from Piscataquis Community High School. She later attended the University of Maine at Orono to receive her Associates in Business Administration. She later finished her bachelors online at Ashford University which she proudly received honors: Magna Cum Laude.
-Over the years Sharon held many job titles. She served her community as an EMT for the Harmony ME Ambulance Service, helping save lives in the process, a true hero.
She also worked stints in retail at Walmart and her local store, C & R's General store.
Sharon eventually found a home working for the T-Mobile call center in Oakland, ME. There she worked her way up from representative to management. After more than a decade there, she moved onto being a store manager for Family Dollar. Finally, being a part of management for Gram's Five and Dime.
-Sharon enjoyed spending time at the beach with her family. She very much enjoyed fishing, especially when out fishing with her husband. Sharon also enjoyed attending the annual Ten Mile Yard Sale in the Skowhegan area every year. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her family and friends, telling stories and playing cards. She loved opening her arms to everyone and was a mother and friend to all.
-Sharon was predeceased by her mother, Linda Doiron. Her sister Barbara Champagne.
-Sharon is survived by her father Robert Doiron, her beloved husband of 24 years, Jason Mumley. Her daughters: Alisha Merritt-Williams and her wife Missie Merrit-Williams, Carolyn Mumley and Elizabeth Leathers and her Partner DJ Wilson and Katherine Poitras and family. Her one son Christian Mumley and his partner Harley Douglas. Her grandchildren: Kylie and Mathew Merritt. Brothers: Moe and Jimmy Walker. Special friends: Valerie Huff, Corinna and Craig Parker, Tammy, and Earnie Steeves and countless more. As well as her fur babies, Thor, Freya, and Marley.
-Sharon's family will be holding a celebration of life at the Athens, ME Legion Hall, on Saturday August 26th at 1:00 PM.
