Ruth Lucille (Ramer) Craft left her family to be with the Lord on May 9, 2025, leaving behind her beloved husband, William Charles Craft, her children: daughter Tracey (Craft) Smith (Albert), sons William Charles (Jaenine) Craft, Jr., and Brandon (Amanda) Craft, five grandchildren: Peyton (Layne) Smith, Mason (ex Mike) McKenney and special friend Josh, twin girls Lettie and Jolie Craft, and one great-grandchild Oliver McKenney. Ruth was the BEST "Meemee" to the children.
Ruth was born at home in Apollo, Pennsylvania, Kiski Township, to Blair and Twila (Berkey) Ramer on February 11, 1951. She was one of thirteen children. Surviving siblings are Josephine (Ramer) Stermer, William (Mae) Ramer, Patricia (Ramer) McAfoos, and Connie (Ramer) Freeman (Hal). Also, there are many surviving nieces and nephews.
She grew up on a farm and ate only fresh organic food, homegrown meats, etc., and continued the healthy and organic food her entire life. She loved to cook (no boxed food ever), and it was the best. She loved horses and kayaking. Ruth graduated high school and went on to learn medical terminology and worked for Stephen Tyks Chiropractic. She was affectionately known as "Doctor Ruth" to her family and friends due to her vast wisdom and knowledge. She will be sorely missed!
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
