Obituary

Roy Fuller, 86, of Albion, Maine, passed away peacefully on November 27, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born on September 14, 1939, to Parker and Gladys Fuller, Roy was a lifelong resident of Albion, Maine. He attended Besse High School and spent 42 years working at Keyes Fibre, retiring in 2000. Roy shared 64 years of marriage with the love of his life, Sharon. Together, they built a life centered around love and family, raising four children: Allen, Ann, and twins Alissa & Allison. Known affectionately as "Papa," he was the proud grandfather to eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Roy's greatest joys were his family, hunting, gardening, beekeeping, and spending time at his hunting camp in Unity and his camp on Lovejoy Pond. A skilled handyman, Roy could fix anything and enjoyed tinkering in his garage. Each summer, he took pride in tending to his garden, harvesting an abundance of vegetables he would share with family and friends. Roy also enjoyed playing cards and cribbage with loved ones, creating lasting memories to cherish. A devoted hunter, outdoorsman, and family man, Roy's eyes would light up when discussing deer season, especially with his grandchildren. He was always eager to hear about others' sightings, and his own hunting adventures were legendary among his family and friends. Predeceased by his parents and siblings, Roy is survived by his wife, Sharon; son, Allen Fuller, and his wife, Stacie; daughter, Ann Hines, and husband, Donnie; daughter, Alissa Roy, and husband, Chuck; and daughter, Allison Grard. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Sarah Shaw, Samantha Fuller, Angela Giguere, Christina Hines, Michael Roy, Jonathan Roy, Preston Roy, Christopher Roy, Nicholas Grard, Nathan Grard, and Natalie Grard and their father Jeff Grard and great-grandchildren: Madison and Bennett Giguere, and Clayton Shaw. His cherished expression, "Papa loves you," will be a fond memory for his grandchildren to cherish. Roy will be remembered as a family man and will be deeply missed by his children, grandchildren, and all who knew him. A private gathering and graveside service will be held to honor Roy's memory.
