It is with greatest sadness that the family of Robert George O'Brien Sr. announce his passing on July 05, 2026. Robert will be greatly missed by the many lives that he touched in his lifetime. 

Robert O'Brien, known as Bob by many, was born December 08, 1957, in Great Barrington, Massachusetts to his parents, Louis Race and Lawerence O'Brien Sr. Robert worked many jobs such as a farmhand and also at a wood mill. Robert loved being a father to his four children and enjoyed spending time outdoors with them. He was a true outdoors man. Robert's true passion was his love of hunting and fishing with his family and friends. He enjoyed fishing with his brothers. Robert passed his love for hunting and fishing through his children and grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by all his loved ones.

Robert survived by his children; Shannan Burns, Laura Bouchard, Robert O'Brien Jr, Rebecca O'Brien, his grandchildren; Emma, Bo, Jessica, Joseph, Aiden, Abigail, Brooklyn, Jacquelyn, Salvatore, Dominic; His siblings; Larry O'Brien and wife Nancy, Cathy Fletcher and husband Keith, Gary O'Brien and wife Barb, Patrick O'Brien and spouse, Lynn Clouser, May Wickwire and spouse. He is preceded in death by sibling Jim O'Brien and spouse, Diane, and his parents, Louis Race and Lawrence O'Brien Sr.
