Skowhegan - Richard Foster, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2023, at the age of 83. Richard was born on February 14, 1940, in Vermont. He will be remembered as a kind, loving, and generous man.

Richard loved gardening. He enjoyed planting flowers and seeing them bloom. He also enjoyed creation, and was fond of watching a variety of birds. Richard was a minister of Jehovah's Witnesses. An important part of his life was serving his God, Jehovah, and developing close friendships with his friends in the congregations.

Richard is survived by his loving wife, Rita, his children, Paula Brogan, Patty Clewer, Richard Foster, Amanda Foster, Bill Foster, and his siblings Nancy Cunningham and Robert Foster. He will also be missed by his three stepdaughters, his stepson, and his ten beautiful grandchildren. He is also predeceased by his sister Bunny Dalton, and his grandson Graham Clewer Jr.

A memorial service will be held at the Waterville Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on Saturday, April 22nd at 2pm.
