Anson – Richard Charles Clegg, 74, passed away on August 30, 2025, after a short battle with cancer. Richard was born on May 5, 1951, in Lynn, Mass son to Adeline Rose (Gagnon) and Herbert Charles Clegg, Sr. He worked many years traveling with local carnivals and was an avid wrestling fan. He especially loved gambling at the casinos and playing Bingo. He loved spending time with his family at cookouts. He had a great sense of humor. He was loved by many and like to be called "Mr. Nice Guy." He was predeceased by both his parents Adeline and Herbert Clegg, Sr., his mother Donna "Dee" Farris, his wife Arlene Clegg, daughters Nicole and Jackie, nephew Bryan Weymouth, and his brother Herbert, Jr. Richard is survived by sister Cathy Clegg of Skowhegan; brothers Cody Turk of Saugus MA, Everett Farris the 3rd of Manchester, MA, and Steven Farris of Manchester MA; nephew Jayson Weymouth of Skowhegan; nieces Patty Nayock with her partner Michael Washburn of Skowhegan; Jamie Martin with her husband Travis and their children Harmony and Carter of Madison, Bonnie Tims with her husband Zach of Rome, Amber Gerry with her husband Corey and their children Angel and Lilliana of Skowhegan; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; many great-nieces and great-nephews; as well as beloved cousins the Levaron and the Martin families of Massachusetts. We would like to thank Cedar Ridge in Skowhegan for taking good care of him for the short time he was there.
