Rebecca “Becka" McAnistan was born April 3, 1975- July 26, 2026

She is survived by her sons, Robert "RJ" Roy, his wife Brittany and their three daughters, Michael Allen Roy of Anson, her father Robert "Bob" Pressey of Starks Maine, her brother Robert "Bo" Pressey and his wife Crystal of Starks, Maine, and her sister Rose Anders and her husband Rob Anders of Raeford, NC. She is preceded by her son Caleb Roy, her husband Pete McAnistan, and her mother Mary Pressey.

Becka graduated from Madison Area Memorial High School in 1992. She went to Thomas College. Over the years Becka had worked many jobs like being a cashier, cleaning lady, more than anything she loved doing construction and felt she was a general handy woman by nature and knowledge.

Becka was a member of the Starks Volunteer Fire Department. She loved helping her community and family in any way she could. She enjoyed seeing the younger generation help their elders. She liked to be outside with her dog Augie. Becka also liked to just go for a long ride and enjoy the back road view. She missed her husband and son dearly. She loved to tell stories about them and cherished when someone would share stories with her. Becka was a very simple woman and just enjoyed the little things when she could. She had a lot of notches in her belt in many different ways, and she was proud of that. She was also very proud of her kids and grandkids. She will be remembered as a hardworking and hardheaded woman. Always ready to do anything for anyone who asked. Yet had a hard time asking anyone for anything unless she had no other choice. Never wanting to bother anyone with her problems. She always said she'd take our secrets to the grave, and she was a woman of her word!
