Randy Frappier, 54, of Oakland, earned his angel wings on Sunday, October 25, 2026, after a hard-fought journey with cancer. We mourn his passing while holding close the memories we were so fortunate to make with him. He will be greatly missed.

He was born on November 2, 1971, in Waterville, Maine, the son of Patricia Lebel and Alphonse Frappier Jr. He graduated from Winslow High School. Over the years, Randy worked at Save-A-Lot and Harts Taylors, served as a janitor at KVCAP, and worked for himself as a woodworker.

Randy enjoyed woodworking and other crafts, and he lived life on his own terms. He especially looked forward to hosting Fourth of July gatherings with friends and family, visiting the coast, and taking mini-vacations to Old Orchard Beach. Randy was a truly selfless man who would give the shirt off his back to help someone in need.

He was predeceased by his parents and his sister, Maryellen. He is survived by his companion, Anne Hursch of Oakland; his two sons, Randy Frappier and his companion, Alexis Page, and daughter Adelle Page, of Oakland, and Brandon Frappier and his companion, Mary Williams, of Rome; his brothers, Paul Frappier of Waterville and Chris Frappier and his wife, Sharon, of Oakland; his nephew, Jason Frappier of Waterville; as well as Barbra Delano of Waterville and Steven and his wife, Becky.

Randy will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him. He formed many lifelong friendships.

Donations may be made to his brother Paul at 207-649-6602 or his son Brandon at 207-465-6415.

A private burial will be held. A potluck celebration of life will take place at the Fairfield VFW on Sunday, November 8, 2026, from noon to 6 p.m.

Those who would like to bring something are asked to RSVP to Paul or Brandon by November 4. Anyone with photographs or memories to share at the celebration may send them to Brandon.
