Priscilla Ruth Boudreau 1943-2023
Heaven gained a beautiful soul on Friday, September 1, 2023, as Priscilla Boudreau slipped quietly from this world at Glenridge Comfort Care Unit at the age of 80. Priscilla was great with people and is remembered for her upbeat attitude and ability to make people laugh along with her. She was born and raised in Hartland, ME, on Jan. 22, 1943, to Oliver & Ida (Hall) Babnaw, the second of 4 children.
After marrying and moving to Rumford, she established herself in the community as she raised her family and sold Beeline, Tupperware, and Avon, making many friends along the way. She always had coffee ready and a seat at her table, an ear to listen, good advice to give out.
Priscilla loved the Lord and was adored for 13 years in Sunday School and kid's ministries as "Mrs. B". She taught at a private Christian school for 6 years before relocating to Baltimore, MD and later Delta, PA while she was working as an administrative assistant at Johns Hopkins University. After retirement, she returned to Maine to be near her family in 2006, residing in Skowhegan with her beloved cats until her passing.
Priscilla was a wonderful mother and leaves behind 3 daughters: Lisa O'Brien of Buxton, Trish Boudreau of Albion, and Sarah Cecil of Baltimore, MD, along with 9 grandchildren and 8 great- grands, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, as well as her best friends-sister Pat Lessard of Canaan and Katherine Babnaw of Skowhegan.
Priscilla is predeceased by her parents, brothers Michael & Richard Babnaw, nephew Alan Lessard and great-grandson Adam Keith Chambers.
For anyone wishing to join us to celebrate the life of Priscilla, family and friends can meet at Adam's Chapel, located on the grounds of Dan & Scott Adams Cremation (445 Waterville Rd, Skowhegan) on Saturday, Oct. 21 from 2-4 PM.
