Randolph - Paul Joseph Albert, 81, of Randolph, Maine, passed away Christmas Day, December 25th, 2023. Paul was born in Augusta, Maine, September 28th, 1942, son to Gertrude L (Poulin) and Demetrius "Dan" A Albert. He graduated from Cony High School in 1962. Paul then joined the US Army in the Vietnam War Era, 1965-1968. He received medals for Good Conduct, National Defense Service, Sharpshooter (rifle), and Marksmen (rifle).
Paul married Juliette Cyr on December 7th, 1966. In 1970 they bought their home in Randolph and quickly found the need to add on to that home to accommodate their growing family. This is where their family grew, including raising four children. He worked for many years at the following jobs - Swift Inc. (As a short and long hall truck driver), AMHI (Augusta Mental Health Institution), Camp Keys (maintenance), Maine Pride Grocery, and Goggins IGA (meat cutter).
Paul enjoyed farming in his younger years, 4-wheeling, camping, and taking long drives up North. He enjoyed cheering for his son Randy and his family at Wiscasset Speedway. Paul was a jack of all trades and could fix anything. He was a hard worker all his life, many times working 100 plus hours in a weeks' time, all so his wife could stay home and care for their children. Paul loved to talk to anyone and everyone, he could always be seen with a smile on his face.
Paul was predeceased by his father, mother, wife of 54 years Juliette (Cyr) Albert, along with several aunts and uncles.
Paul is survived by his sons Randall J Albert with wife Marje of Chelsea, Daniel P Albert with fiancé Lisa Webster of Wayne; daughters Tina M Albert with partner Steve Smith of Whitefield and Tammie A Albert with fiancé Paul Blais of China; six grandchildren - Kayla Albert with partner Tony Brown of Chelsea, Courtney "Alexander" Sevon with husband Joshua of Jefferson, Krystal Albert of Chelsea, Megan "Alexander" Waldron with husband Christian of China, Chad Webster with wife Meaghan of Sidney, Drew Webster with wife Olivia of Augusta; nine great-grandchildren and one great-grandson coming in July. Paul is also survived by his wife Anna Smith of Randolph with her two children - Britni Greshaw and Austin Veregge; sister Claudette Albert of Augusta; and stepsister Nancy "Albert" Ellis with husband William of Farmingdale.
Paul was a caring husband and loving father. He will be greatly missed by all.
