Obituary

Clinton – Nolly Dostie, 78, passed away on November 29, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. She now joins her beloved husband, Wayne, who welcomed her with open arms. Nolly cherished time with her grandchildren, enjoyed relaxing with an orange soda while watching TV, and loved reading magazines. She found joy on Sunday drives with Wayne and friends, and summer afternoons visiting lawn sales or chatting with her girlfriends, where among her favorite moments. A kind and loving soul, Nolly's greatest joy was being a mother and grandmother. Her family meant everything to her, and she devoted her life to caring for and supporting them. To know Nolly was to love her – she brought smiles to faces and touched the hearts of everyone she met. She is survived by her son, Wayne Scott Dostie, and his wife, Jenny; her granddaughters, Jasmine Reyes and her husband, Luis, and Nevaeh Wilson; her great-grandson, Hudson; her niece, Jodie Reynolds, and husband, John; along with many cherished nieces, nephews, friends, and family, including special friends Pat and Jean Casey. Nolly was predeceased by her parents, William and Charlene Sabins; her beloved husband, Wayne Dostie; her brother, Billy Sabins; her brother-in-law, George Reid; her niece, Lisa Danforth, and husband, Clarence; her nephew, Sonny Danforth; and her cousin, Brenda Fournier. A memorial service will be held on January 2, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at Somerset Valley Remembrance Center, 19 Washburn Lane, Skowhegan, followed by a celebration of life at Fairfield VFW.
