Skowhegan - Milton L. Prentiss, Jr., 82, passed away on Wednesday, March 5th, 2025, at his brother's residence in Skowhegan where he has resided for the past 10 years. Milt was born on September 26, 1942, son to Evelyn Georgianna (Furness) and Milton LeRoy Prentiss, Sr. in Vernon, Massachusetts, where he resided worked for most of his life. Milt was a man of few words but loved watching tv and soaking up the sun in the summer. When he could not visit, you could always catch him on the deck with a coffee or in his usual chair on the grass people watching. He would always be happy to exchange stories about the "good ole days" and he always attended family events and loved listening to everyone's stories and joining in on the festivities. He loved his nightly ice cream while watching westerns and just kicking back and relaxing. He was pre-deceased by both his parents, sister Georgiana, brothers Jimmy, Charlie, Sammy, and Albert. Milt is survived by his brother and caregiver Howard, brother Barry with his wife Wanda, and brother Billy with his wife Donna; sisters Patricia, Virginia and Nona; many nieces and nephews, as well as his daughter Danielle Couture.
