Skowhegan - Melody Belinda Byler, 54, passed away unexpectedly at her parent's home on Wednesday morning, July 24, 2024. Melody was born in Skowhegan on Saturday, May 30, 1970, the daughter of Judy (Towle) and Elton Libby. She attended Skowhegan Area Schools and worked at Walmart for many years. For the last two years she worked as a Service Leader at Hannaford. Melody was a loving Mother to her four children and a devoted grandmother to her eight grandchildren. She loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed the beauty of the land and had her own flower garden that she loved tending to every year. She was predeceased by her granddaughter Pandora Autumn. Melody is survived by her parents Judy and Elton Libby of Skowhegan; daughters Tasha White of Buxton, Delilah Byler of Skowhegan, and Alexa Byler of Skowhegan; son Joshua Lewis of Skowhegan; grandsons Izak White, Jace White, Zane White, Greyson Noke, and August McCarty; granddaughters Scarlett McCarty, Esmae White, and Jaylyn Noke; and brothers Shawn Libby of Skowhegan and Dean Libby of Lewiston. Memorial Service will be held at a later date. This family would like to thank everyone who has given us love and support during this time of difficulty.
