Obituary

Margaret M. LePage, 90, of Skowhegan, passed away peacefully at the Redington Fairview General Hospital on Saturday September 19, 2015 with her daughter Linda and son in-law Richard by her side. She was born November 1, 1924 in Skowhegan, the daughter of Michael and Suzanne (Ouellette) Noonan. Margaret attended school in Skowhegan and retired from Medwed Footwear after many years as a stitcher. She was a communicant of Christ the King Parish Catholic Church in Skowhegan where she was involved in roles she truly enjoyed. During her retirement Margaret enjoyed family vacations, playing dominos and visits with her grandchildren who she adored. It was always a joy to be in Margaret’s company because of her contagious laughter and easy going nature. She enjoyed interacting with people. As a young girl Margaret’s passion was music, singing and playing the guitar with her best friend Delia Demo with whom she recorded a record, they also sang in Bangor on WLBZ radio. Margaret is survived by her three daughters, Cheryl Diltz and her husband Michael of San Jose, CA, Linda Gagnon and her husband Richard of Skowhegan, Debbie Wyman and her husband Dale of Canaan; sisters-in-laws, Connie Noonan of Waterville, Rita Noonan of CT; six grandchildren, Jeff and Derek Butts, Lance and Jamie Charrier, Dedra Dillon and Dina Wyman; eight great-grandchildren, Ethan and Teagan Butts, Dylan and Aiden Butts, Averi and Nicholas Charrier, Jillian Charrier and Natasha Wyman. She was predeceased by her beloved son Lawrence LePage, brothers Arthur and Raymond Noonan, sisters Rena LeBlanc, Catherine St. Peter and Yvonne Bollier. There will be no visiting hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday October 24, 2015 at 10 a.m. at the Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church, Water St., Skowhegan, following the Mass burial will be at the St. Sebastian Cemetery in Madison, Maine Our family would like to thank Tony Bernette and the wonderful staff at the Redington Fairview General Hospital. Their professionalism and kindness during this difficult time was outstanding. Our Heartfelt thanks to our many family and friends for their loving support. Arrangements are under the care and directions of Smart & Edwards Funeral Home, 183 Madison Ave., Skowhegan, Maine.
