Madison – Lorna Parker Walsh-Lord, 66, passed away March 18, 2024, surrounded by loved ones at Redington Fairview Hospital in Skowhegan. Lorna was born in Toronto, Ontario, on December 8, 1957, daughter of William Ernest Parker and Margaret Rachel (Gilbert) Parker.

Lorna, a homemaker whose top priority was raising and taking care of her family, made the world’s best snickerdoodles. Lorna worked at Pine Street Redemption prior to retiring from the Madison Health Center after 17 years.

She was predeceased by her first husband Kent Walsh, her parents, and her son Levi Walsh.

Lorna is survived by her husband Dennis Lord of Madison; sons Lucas Walsh of Norridgewock and Logan (Brittney) Walsh of Belfast; stepsons Troy (Daureen) Lord of Pittsfield, Jim (Nikki) Lord of Corinna, and Kirk (Eric Poulin) Walsh of Gorham, NH; grandsons Ryder and Hendryx Walsh, Adam Ogden (fiancé Alexis Sylvester), Jaxson Lord, and Ethyn Butler; granddaughters Emma and Ellen Walsh, Ryleigh, Paige and Gabrielle Lord; Morgan Breznyak, and Alexis Butler; great-grandchildren Aiden, Everly, Bennett, and Aldin; grand-pup Walker Walsh; childhood friend Donna Charlebois from the Toronto area; lifelong best friend and godmother to her children, Theresa Wilder-Brooks.

The family would like to thank all the nurses at Redington Fairview Hospital for taking such excellent care of Lorna.

A graveside service will be held on June 8th, 2024, at Forest Hill Cemetery in Madison.
