Skowhegan - Lisa Marie Libby, 52, passed away July 30, 2024, at her home with her husband by her side after losing her courageous battle to cancer. Lisa was born on March 14, 1972, to Horace and Yvonne (Fortin) Littlefield in Dixfield. Later moving to Bingham where Lisa attended Upper Kennebec Valley High School, she graduated and earned her diploma. After school Lisa worked in the medical field, nursing, working at Somerset Rehab and Living Center where she touched many lives with her caring compassionate ways. Lisa's biggest accomplishment was when she became Resident Care Director.
In 2010 Lisa met the love of her life, Greg Libby, and they married on August 23, 2014. Together they gained each other's family and became one. During this time Lisa and Greg adopted their fur babies: Molly, Abigail, and Oreo. Together their family included Lisa's loving daughter, Brooke Wing, along with Greg's children, Mallory Stratton and Broc Libby. In 2023 Lisa and Greg welcomed their nephew Silas Fortier into their loving home where she became a loving Auntie. Lisa lived her best life right up to the end. She stayed moving and as active as possible even during her last hours.
Lisa was so thankful to her stepdaughter Mallory for all the special moments they shared and for her help when she needed it, for that she was grateful. Also, a special thank you to Beacon Hospice for their support and help during this process. A special thank you to Tammy and Jess for sharing the caring and compassion that Lisa showed during her time with us.
