Clinton Linda (Grard) Rogers, 73, passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home on Sunday, April 12, 2026, joining the love of her life, John Rogers, six years to the day of his passing.
Linda was born in Waterville on December 3, 1952, the daughter of George and Maude (Bowden) Grard. She graduated from Lawrence High School in 1971. Active with the QWL, Linda was instrumental in the creation of the Rural Carriers Training Academy in Maine and retired as a Regular Rural Mail Carrier after more than 20 years of dedicated service.
A loving mother, proud Gigi, and avid Boston Red Sox fan, Linda cherished spending her summers with her children and grandchildren. Following her retirement, she felt especially fortunate to care for her youngest granddaughter and great-granddaughter. She looked forward each year to her wedding anniversary trip to Mohegan Sun, where she enjoyed playing video poker. Watching her grandchildren play sports and cheering on her children as coaches brought her immense joy.
Linda was predeceased by her parents, George and Maude, husband Jack, and siblings George, Marion, Harvey, Donald, Arnold, and Harold.
She is survived by her son Robert Rogers and his wife Bonnie of Clinton, daughter Shawna Robinson and her husband Ryan of Clinton, son Jacob and his wife Sarah of Clinton, grandchildren, Alli Tulley and her husband Connor, Logan Rogers, McKenna Rogers, Kaden Dyer, Colt Robinson, Anna Rogers, Isabell Rogers and great granddaughter Reese Tulley. Linda is also survived by her sisters Lorraine (and Roger), Dorothy, and Sue (and Tim), and brother Rick, several nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
A graveside service will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Clinton at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to one of Linda's favorite teams, the Lawrence Field Hockey Boosters, in care of Shawna Robinson, 135 Rogers Road, Clinton, Maine 04927.
