Linda Mae Lambert, 69, of Canaan, Maine, passed away on June 3, 2026, with her family by her side at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, Maine.
Linda was born on March 17, 1957, in Hartland, ME to Clarence and Gloria Jones of Canaan, Maine for whom she is pre-deceased by.
Linda graduated from Skowhegan Area High School in 1975. She was employed as a bookkeeper for small businesses and for the Town of Canaan for a short time. She got done to raise her 3 children and also babysat other children. She was also employed at Standard Electric in Waterville and Kennebec Behavioral Health in Waterville for several years before her health declined.
Linda's passions included. Photography, sewing and crocheting. She made her sister's wedding dress and bridesmaid's dresses as well as flower arrangements. She crocheted afghans for her family members. She loved reading, especially Stephen King and romance. She loved the ocean and collecting stones and shells. She also loved treasure hunting in the woods. She and Parris were married on July 14, 2001. They traveled for her dream trip to Ireland, and they also hosted annual Thanksgiving Dinner. She also traveled hours by car & thousands of miles by air for her grandbaby's arrivals into this world. Most recently, she loved having campfires and enjoying the sun. Her many grandchildren were the twinkle in her eye.
Linda is survived by her husband Parris Lambert; her daughter Heather Richardson and partner, Robbie Hayden; her son Matthew Richardson and wife Charisse, her son Luke Richardson and wife Sasha, her grandchildren Brendon, Lola, Keegan, Leif, Reid, Layla, Casey, Dylan and Bryce, her sister Gail LaGross and husband Butch; her step-daughter Amy Gagnon and husband Toby and step-daughter Sarah Lambert several Aunts, Uncles, cousins and nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her most loved companion, her dog Jake.
At Linda's request, there will not be any funeral services. A private burial will be held at a later date at Fairview Cemetery in Canaan, Maine.
