Oakland – My loving husband, Lenard D. Schoen, 65, gained his wings on March 19th, 2025, due to complications related to heart surgery.
Lenard was born on March 5, 1960, to Robert Schoen and Dorothy Jean (Keegan) Garcia.
Len was employed as a foreperson for Asplundh Tree Experts for more than 25 years.
He was an inspiration for his family, showing his love and patience to everyone he interacted with. His favorite passion in life was to spoil the ones he loved, most especially his grandchildren. They loved their Papa.
One of his favorite sayings was, "Can't never do nothing."
He is survived by his wife Tina Taylor, and a very special granddaughter Trinity Taylor, whom he raised. His children Shawn (Marie), Derick, and Nikki. His grandchildren Brandon (Tasha), Matthew (Mckaila), Damian (Lydia), Katlyn (Hunter), and Kaleb (Beth), as well as 6 great-grandchildren. His sister Debra Lisburg, his brother Lance (Lena) Demaree, as well as his many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family and friends.
He is predeceased by his grandson Cody, both his parents, his sister Stacy, and his niece Heather.
"Rest in Peace my Love, until we meet again. I will always love you" - Tina
