Norridgewock - Lawrence Raymond Williams, 67, of Norridgewock, ME, passed away on January 6th, 2024, after going into Togus VA Medical Center for a case of pneumonia. Larry was born on September 5th, 1956, son to Flavie Swain and Lawrence Williams Sr, in Skowhegan, ME. Upon graduation from Skowhegan Area High School, Larry enlisted into the United States Navy as a boiler technician, where he proudly served for 18 years. Larry went on to work at Seton Hospital as part of the mechanical staff for many years before retiring. Larry met his wife Verna in the 70's, marrying shortly thereafter and together until Verna's passing. Larry and Verna had three biological children - Robert, Christina, and Deborah. After retirement, Larry spent his free time fishing, hunting, and working in the garage with his good friend Kenneth Austin. Larry was predeceased by his wife Verna Williams; daughter Deborah Williams-Clement; father Lawrence Williams Sr; stepfather Eugene Swain; mother Flavie Swain; brothers Roy Williams and Gerald Swain. Larry is survived by son Robert Williams; daughters Christina Crosby with husband, and Destiny Herrera; grandchildren Tracey, Katherine, Drake, Kalyb, Ethan, Mason, and Delwyn; brother Kenny Williams with wife Ruby; sisters Jeany York with husband Tim, and Dolly Bernier; brothers Neil Swain, and Daryl Swain with wife Sparky; and many nephews and nieces. A memorial will be held on Saturday, January 27th, 2024, at 2:00pm, and will take place at the Skowhegan Eagles Club – 164 Water St. Skowhegan, Miane, 04976.
