Waterville- Lawrence Patrice Audet, 77, of Waterville, left us to be one of the angels on August 11, 2025 at Maine General Medical Center in Augusta, surrounded by loving family and friends. He was born May 15, 1948, in Greenville, the son of Patrice Cyril and Flor Delcia (Trepanier) Audet. He was educated in Jackman, Maine and Canada. He worked as a school bus driver and support worker for MSAD #49. He also worked other various jobs throughout his life.
Lawrence loved dancing, hunting, playing darts, horseshoes, playing cards. He also loved his family with his whole heart and soul.
In addition to his parents, Lawrence was predeceased by a sister Doris Audet and a brother, Ernest Audet.
He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Mary Lee; four children: son Lawrence Audet II and his wife Kristin; son Kenneth; son Chad and his wife Bonnie; and daughter Angel; honorary family Jon and Christine Christensen; a sister Jeannine Audet, a brother Claude Audet and wife Linda, a brother Yvan Audet, and a sister Sylvie Audet.
His Grandchildren: Christine Meader and her husband John, DJ Veilleux and his wife Jess, Heather Farmer and her husband Derrick, Cassandra Thoopsamoot and her significant other Eddie LaRochelle, Jessica Hathaway and her significant other Dorian A CK, Lawrence Audet III and his wife Amber; Nick Christensen and his wife Mikkala; Felicia Audet and her significant other Rene Smith, Luke Audet and his wife Chelsea, Aaron Audet and his wife Chloe, Joey Audet, Jenn Christensen, Ayla Mercado, Christopher Audet, Colby Spencer and his wife Samantha, Mickayla Audet and her significant other Ryan Knowles, Alex Thompson, and Maryah Audet-Gagnon.
Great-Grandchildren: Zachary, Brayden and Jacob Meader; Colby and Kayden Farmer; Zaiden, Tucker and Bradley Thoopsamoot; Aubrie Leadbetter and Lawrence Audet IV; Evan Dodge and significant other Savannah Markert; Ryder Spencer; and Amari Gagnon.
We will gather to remember and celebrate the life of Lawrence on August 22, 2025, at 10:00 a.m at Notre Dame Catholic Church on Silver Street in Waterville, Maine. Burial will take place on August 23, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony's Cemetery, 60 Heald Stream Road, Jackman, Maine.
Please wear whatever feels comfortable and accessible for you. While black is traditional for funerals, Lawrence's favorite color was red, and he loved all vibrant colors. If you feel moved, please honor his spirit by wearing something that reflects the joy and brightness he brought to our lives. Let us come together in love, remembrance, and gratitude for the time we were blessed to share him in life.
