On April 2, 2025, the close-knit community of Sabattus, Maine suffered a heartbreaking loss. Katherine Williams, 54, a beloved mother, friend, coach, sister and bright light in so many lives was tragically taken from us far too soon. Katherine was the kind of person who made everyone feel seen, valued, and loved. Whether she was cheering on her daughters from the sidelines, lighting up the dance floor as an adult tapper, or volunteering in the community, she brought joy and warmth to every space she entered. She gave selflessly, always ready with a smile, a hug, or a word of encouragement. She made people feel like family. Katherine served as the Food Service Manager in all the RSU4 schools. She held a special place in her heart for each and every student. She was a proud dance mom, field hockey supporter, equestrian enthusiast, and above all, a devoted wife to her husband Andy, loving mother to her daughters, Erikka and Jesikka, and her stepdaughter, Nicole and her son, Logan. The world feels dimmer without her radiant presence. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025, 11:00 A.M. at the Lisbon Falls Baptist Church, Lisbon Falls ME. Attendees are asked to wear red in honor of Katherine. The family would like to thank the Maine State Police and all other local responding agencies.
