Obituary

Judy Ann King, 77, crossed over to the arms of her Lord on June 11th, 2023. She was born on March 1st, 1946, in New Hampshire to Elwood and Beatrice Green, moving to Maine as a child. She graduated from Lawrence High School in 1965. It was there in 1960 she met her dearest friend, Suzie (Clement) Longley, beginning a friendship of nearly 63 years. When her children were young, she ran a day care in her home. The children were always excited to go to "Judy's house". The extra money provided music and dance lessons for her children. She took care of teachers' kids so she could have Summers off with hers. Judy worked for Weight Watchers for nearly 40 years – first as a member, then as a salesperson and class leader. Her granddaughter, Addison, came to live with Judy in 2003 at the age of seven. She became her priority, Judy meeting all of Addie's needs head-on, creating a very strong bond between them. Judy was very strong-willed, opinionated and out-spoken. She was also one to give behind the scenes, not needing recognition. Judy belonged to Crossroads Bible Church. Her faith was strong, her belief in her God deep. Deceased: Her parents, daughter Payton, sister Susan, sister Gigi, brother Bob, former Husband Colman and Sister-in-law Mary. Survivors: Brother Dick, Grand-Daughter Addison, Son Marc and Wife Freddie, Son Jason and Wife Gabriella and Daughter Katarina, Daughter Doneker and Kip, Grandson Thad and Sister-in law Ellie – many nieces and nephews. So many to thank: Patsey, how did we function before you became a family member? Suzie who has been part of us for a lifetime. Tony, who never needs to be asked. Callie and Gregg, always to be counted on, Kathy (Swiminst) who shows up, Renee longtime friend, Karen, who cares, Cassie, who gets things moving. God bless you all. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Somerset Humane Society or charity of your choice. Get together to be announced.
