Waterville - Joyce Marie Simpson, 92, passed away on Friday May 3, 2024, with her son Todd by her side. Joyce was born on April 29,1932, the daughter of Ernest Toulouse and Eva (Normand) Toulouse. Joyce served in the US Air Force and worked at Hathaway for several years. She was primarily a stay-at-home mom and cherished and deeply loved her two children, two granddaughters, and her six great-grandchildren. She was known for her contagious smile. She was predeceased by her husband Eugene Simpson, parents Ernest and Eva Toulouse, and sisters June Marshall and Connie Rines. Joyce is survived by her daughter Sheree Simpson of Windsor and son Todd Simpson of Waterville; granddaughter Jade Marshall and fiancé Josh Andrews with their children Eliza, Maverick, and Bristol, of Windsor; granddaughter Kolbie Danforth and her children Paityn, Aaliyah, and William of Readfield; brothers-in-law Don Rines and Don Simpson and sister-in-law Nancy Simpson; and a special friend Maryann Campbell and her boys Caleb and Cody. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday June 12,2024, at 2:00 pm at Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery - Civic Center Drive 143 Blue Star Avenue Augusta, ME. Until We Meet Again HOHO!
