Joseph Faietta, a man of unwavering strength, boundless humor, and immense love for his family, passed away on January 24th, 2025, at the age of 74. A proud veteran and hero, he was a retired member of the United States Navy who served his country honorably during the Vietnam War. Wounded in combat, he carried his scars with dignity and remained a testament to resilience throughout his life.
Born on August 21, 1950, Joseph discovered his passion for music at an early age, teaching himself to play the drums at just 8 years old. Playing in countless bands throughout his lifetime including a Jimi Hendrix Tribute band in Las Vegas. Music became a lifelong joy, and he never missed an opportunity to share his rhythms with those around him. His love for travel took him on countless adventures, with casinos often calling him for a little fun and excitement.
His humor was infectious, and his laughter could light up any room. No matter the situation, he found a way to bring smiles and remind everyone of life's simple joys.
Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, Marjorie Brooks and John Faietta, as well as his sister, Katherine Marie Faietta. Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Patricia Faietta; his devoted daughter, Abigail Marie Faietta, and her partner, Allen Jordan; his cherished grandchildren—three granddaughters Delilah Reign, Margaret Ann Rafalowski, Gaia Willow Jordan and one grandson—Austin James Faietta who were the light of his life. As well as his only niece Nicole Marie Lewis, and her four children and two grandchildren.
A life well-lived and a heart so full of love will never be forgotten. Joseph leaves behind a legacy of courage, kindness, and joy that will forever be etched into the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
