Joseph E. Chevery - June 13, 1953 – October 10, 2025 Joseph E. Chevery, aged 72, of Pittsfield, Maine, went to be with the Lord after a brief battle with cancer. In his younger years, Joe served as a U.S. Marine. He will be remembered for his love of music and being the lead guitarist for three different bands. He also enjoyed his many years as a tractor trailer truck driver. Joe is survived by his wife Gladys (Smith) Chevery of 30 years. His stepson Eric (Kelly) Lyons and his stepdaughter, Vicki (Michael) Dodge, grandchildren and great grandchildren. His sister Diane Tash, Sister-in-Law Deanna Chevery, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins in Dexter, Maine. Joe was predeceased by his mother, Joyce Larabee, father, Leland Chevery and brother, Wayne Chevery. Also, his stepson, Stephen Lyons. A Memorial Service and Celebration of Life will be held on November 1, 2025, at1:00 PM at the Nazarene Church in Pittsfield, Maine located at 200 Central St. There will be a graveside committal service at a later date in the Spring.
