Waterville – Our beloved John William Bernard, 55, left us on November 22nd, 2024. John was born on March 17, 1969, in Waterville, son to Walter Joseph and Gloria Diana (Dennis) Bernard. He lived in Waterville and worked at B & B Precise.

John’s smile and friendly voice touched everyone he met. He enjoyed meeting people, offering a joke or story was his way of connecting with people. When you met John, an angel touched you. He had a huge passion for fishing and wildlife. He loved his time in the beauty and wonder of all animals, though his favorite was the Bald Eagle.

John will be missed by his sisters, Diane, Susan, Gail, and Jane; brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, many friends, and also The Roods who were his second family.

There will be a Celebration of Life on December 20th, 2024, at 1:00pm, located at the Mason Lodge – 50 Main St. in South China.
