Belgrade – Jeffrey Allen Steeves (Oliver), 62, passed away unexpectedly on October 8th, 2023. Jeff was born in Waterville on August 10th, 1961, to James W. Steeves Sr. and Christine (Poulin) Steeves. Jeffrey enlisted in the United States Navy in 1978 for a brief period then worked in carpentry for nearly 4 decades, excelling in remodeling and finish work. Jeff had a love for NASCAR and football. He enjoyed taking his stepson out to ride Go Karts and looked forward to motorcycle rides with his brother James. He really enjoyed spending time in his game room playing pool and darts and listening to his music. Jeff had a take it or leave it personality and could make anyone around him laugh. Everyone who met him could not help but like him. Jeff found the love of his life Tina Steeves whom he shared 27 years with. Together they traveled, remodeled homes, and spent Sunday afternoons watching NASCAR. Jeff was predeceased by both parents, his sister Evelyn Boston of Waterville, and brother James Steeves Jr of Rochester, NH. He is survived by his sister Jill Bard of Fairfield, lifelong partner (Wife) Tina Steeves of Belgrade, Father-in-law Raymond Cote of Belgrade, Two step daughters Beverly McDaniel of Oakland and Jamie Millett of Fairfield, stepson Justin Hillman of Belgrade, four Granddaughters; Mariah, Natasha, Natalie, Makayla all of Oakland, and also his best friend of nearly 2 decades David Coyne; or as Jeff would call him, Minnie. Jeff will be sadly missed by his family, friends, and all that know him. There will be a celebration of Life to be set at a later date.
