Moscow - Jeff McDonald, 64, passed away surrounded by love and memories from a life filled with adventure, hard work, and the people he cherished most on April 16, 2025. He was born July 1st, 1960, the son of Leon and Gladys "Irdene" (Giguere) McDonald. Jeff had a deep love for the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his mom and dad, spending countless hours in nature that he held dear. Camping trips were among his favorite pastimes, and in his younger years, he also enjoyed bowling. Jeff worked hard throughout his life. He worked in the woods with his friend Larry grading roads and later drove trucks for the state of Maine. He also did town work in Pleasant Ridge and worked at the radar site in Moscow, Maine. He was never afraid of a long day's work and took pride in every job he held. He was predeceased by his beloved brother Colby McDonald and his parents, Leon and Gladys McDonald. Jeff is survived by his special friends Larry Hutchins, Dana and Jeanette Roderick, Merle Pierce, as well as Juanita Hutchins, a longtime neighbor who was like a second mother to him. Jeff will be remembered for his quiet strength, love of the outdoors, and the deep bonds he shared with those closest to him.
