Ida Wilma Foltz, 90, of Canaan, Maine passed away Sunday August 15, 2010 at her home in Canaan, Maine. She was born December 31, 1919 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of John and Helen (McDonald) Franklin. Ida enjoyed doing hand crafts, loved animals and she enjoyed traveling. She moved to Maine in 2004 from Iowa. She is survived by her daughter Peggy Kunz, three grandsons and their spouses, seven great-grandchildren, five nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her two sisters, her parents and her husband Laverne Foltz. At the request of the family there will be no services held at this time. Cremation arrangements are under the care and direction of Smart & Edwards Funeral Home, 183 Madison Ave., Skowhegan, Maine
