Mrs. Gleana T. McDonald 99, peacefully passed away on March 3, 2022 at the home of her daughter and Son-in-law in Kansas City, Missouri after a long illness.
She was born July 15, 1922 in Jackson, Maine to Andrew (Harry) Tracy and Nellie Lovely Tracy, she lived for many years in Rockland working at Van Baalens Company and as a waitress in several restaurants in Rockland. She and her first husband had 4-children.
In 1960 She married Charles McDonald and moved to New Orleans, Louisiana where she became a successful Tupperware Regional Manager in sales and training.
Gleana is survived by her daughters Pat Wentworth and husband Ken Wentworth of Kansas City, MO, and Elaine Huss of Kaukauna, Wisconsin, and her son Roy Taylor and his wife Wendy of New Orleans, LA, also her nephew Wayne Delong of Florida, is noted as he always acknowledged her as his "second mother''. Gleana had 13 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephew.
She was predeceased by her husband "Mac" McDonald and her son Raymond A. McDonald, her three sisters and brothers, and her son-in-law Harvey J. Huss Sr.
A graveside memorial will be held Monday, August 1st, 2022 at 1 PM, Old Oak Cemetery, Norridgewock, Maine
