Skowhegan, Maine Gertrude E. (Trudy) Pomelow, born in Farmington Maine on 12/2/46, passed at the age of 78 on 8/14/25. Trudy passed peacefully at her home after a long battle with cancer, with her loving family by her side. She is survived by her partner Carolyn Giles of Skowhegan. Her Daughter Kelly Williams and her children, Joseph and Mary. Daughter Tracy Sargent and her husband Johnson and their children, Matthew and Coburn and his wife Rachelle. Son Roy Judkins and his wife Cheryl and their children, Katie, Halie, and Rachelle. Daughter Sharon Findley and her husband Larry and their son Scott and his wife Brianna. Great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and many cousins. She is predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Alice Pomelow of Madison, her brother Robert Pomelow, and her sisters Gloria Brown and Joy Pomelow. She is survived by her siblings, Betty Cole and her husband Jerry of Anson, Debbie Gilman and her husband Mark of Argyle. Frank and his wife Georgiana of Clinton, Rebecca Kitchin of Madison, Kathy Barton and her husband Jim of Bangor, Lori Robbins and her husband Gary of No. Anson and Rose Pomelow of Madison. Trudy was a cosmetologist and worked at KVCap for many years. She enjoyed painting, embroidery, and sewing. A special thank you to the New England Cancer Center, Dr. Oto Prokop, and Beacon Hospice. A graveside service will be held at the Forest Hill Cemetery in Madison on Saturday, November 1st at 11 am with Reverend Tanner officiating.
