Starks – Gale Marie O’Donald, 61, passed away at the Andwell Hospice House in Auburn on August 18, 2025. Gale was born in Skowhegan on December 1, 1963, daughter to Gloster and Kathleen (Roderick) O’Donald. She attended school in Madison and lived most of her life in Starks. She was a dedicated caregiver to many people.

Gale loved having a beautiful garden every year and cherished spending time with her grandson and daughter.

She was predeceased by her loving soulmate Terry Preble, her father Gloster O'Donald, her mother Kathleen O'Donald, her sister Linda Hood, and brother Donnie Burns.

Gale is survived by her daughter Melissa O’Donald with her husband Bruce Tuttle and their grandchildren Terry Tuttle, Travis Tuttle, and Damien Tuttle, all of Starks; sisters Debbie O’Donald of Skowhegan and Diane Butterfield with her husband Brian Butterfield of Farmington Falls; brother Bruce O’Donald with his wife Kathy of Anson; nieces Sherry Bruns of Industry, Amanda O’Donald of Anson, Jean Mason, Tanya Bullen, Brandy Rogers, and Shannon Pisgah; nephews Craig Bullen, Floyd, Bullen, and Joe Bruns; as well as her very best friends Mindi Worthly and Dawn.

A special thank you to her nurse who provided fantastic care daily and everyone else who has helped with mom on this journey.
