Gail Liane Savoy, 85, went to be with the Lord on Sept. 12, 2022, with family by her side. Gail was born in Skowhegan Maine on August 1, 1937, the daughter of Percy and Rena Sirois of Madison, ME. She graduated from Madison Area Memorial High School with high honors in 1956. In her younger years she worked at McDonald Shoe, an ice cream shop, JcPenny, Ames and was a wonderful mom to her three children. Gail was an amazing, loving wife to her husband Joe Savoy for almost 65 years. They renewed their vows at 50 years on Oct 5, 2007. They spent many years on the coast and loved traveling to Florida with their camper and dog Scampi. For everyone who new Gail, we can all agree that her bread was out of this world! She was known as the bread lady from the isles of Islesbro Maine to the shores of Embden Pond Maine. Ferris Market had even asked to put her bread in their store. When it came to the kitchen - she truly rocked it! She always took so much pride in cooking home cooked meals for her family, friends and their hunting families. Gail is survived by her husband Joe Savoy; her daughters Cynthia Savoy, and Vanessa Bruce and husband Randy Bruce; her grandchildren, Michael Bruce and wife Michelle Bruce, Jessica Bruce and fiancé Nick Berry, and Samantha Allen and husband David Allen Jr.; and her great grandchildren Lexus Bruce, Nova Murray, Acadia Murray, Peyton Bruce, Titan Murray, Chloe Bruce, Evelyn Allen, and Kenadi Berry. She is predeceased by her father and mother, her son Timothy Savoy, father-in-law William Savoy and mother-in-law Gladys Savoy, and brother-in-law David Savoy. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday September 28, 2022 at 10am at St. Sebastian Catholic Church in Madison.
