Skowhegan - Franklin D. Bushey, 86, passed away on Sunday, October 8, 2023, at Woodlawn Rehab and Nursing. He was born July 15, 1937, in Skowhegan, ME, to Charles A. and Yvonne (Bolduc) Bushey. He attended local schools before working at Norwock Shoe, and then later on for Jewell Antiques, where he found his passion for antiquing with his friend, David Jewell. On weekends you could always find Frank at the Lakewood Golf Course, where he enjoyed golfing with his friends. He also enjoyed fishing with his son, playing cribbage, and absolutely loved the Red Sox. He is predeceased by both his parents, his wife Judith M. Bushey, sisters Geraldine Corson and Doris Morse, brothers Robert and Edmund Bushey, as well as his beloved dog, Bambi. He is survived by his son Frank and wife Roxanne, his granddaughter Laurel Bushey and her fiancée Ben Waite, his sisters in-law Pat Bushey and Cindy Gilcott, brother in-law Robert Hayden, several nieces and nephews, and a special cousin, Dick (Yukie) King.
