Skowhegan - Elizabeth Ann Tetreault, 83, passed away unexpectedly on August 25, 2026, at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, Maine. She was born on February 22, 1943, to Maxwell and Edith Quimby of Madison, Maine.

Liz graduated from the Boston School of Nursing in 1964 and devoted 28 years to her career as a registered nurse, caring for patients in Ohio, Colorado, and Maine. She retired from nursing in 1992, the same year she married her loving husband Eugene in Augusta. Liz spent the remainder of her life in Skowhegan, where she made her home.

Liz was predeceased by her husband, Eugene; her parents; her sister, Shirley Sawyer; and her brother, Everett Quimby.

She is survived by her three children, Rachel Henry of Auburn, Maine, Aber Johnson of Skowhegan, Maine, and Andrew Johnson of New Berlin, New York; as well as six grandchildren.

Liz will be remembered with love and deeply missed by her family and friends. She will be interred at the Maine Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery in Augusta, Maine, beside her loving husband, Gene. Service arrangements will be announced at a later date.
