Edmond
Ouellette
Jul 19, 1931 — Sep 22, 2012
ANSON-Edmond J Ouellette (“Momo”), 81, joined his long awaiting loving parents Lydia (Huard) and Victor J Ouellette in the afterlife on September 22, 2012 after complications due to an accidental fall at his place of residence. Momo's passing took place at EMMC in Bangor. Momo lived at home with his family most of his life where the utmost care and attention was placed on his well-being, particularly by his mother Lydia until her own passing. Momo later moved to Ensign Boarding Home Inc. in Hartland Maine, where he lived for 20 years until their closing. Two years ago, Momo moved to Jacobs Res. Care Center in Anson. Momo was loved by all. With his bright smile and happy go lucky ways, Momo touched the hearts of everyone he came in contact with. He is missed already. Momo is survived by his sister Yvette (Ouellette) Gousse, her children Sandra (Gousse) Fraioli, Debra (Gousse) Doyon, Larry Gousse Jr and their families, all of CT, niece/guardian Lisa (Ouellette) Miller and her family of Maine & Maui, niece Kimberly (Taylor) Morse and family of Maine & MO. In addition to his parents, Momo’s brothers Roger J, Norbert J, and Leonel J Ouellette passed before him. We will be holding a celebration of life service organized by Cary Kelly of SKILLS, Inc. The service will be held on 10am, Fri Oct 5, 2012 at Smart & Edwards Funeral Home on 183 Madison Ave in Skowhegan. Light refreshments will be served at the funeral home. Following will be a procession to SKILLS Memorial Park 460 Hartland Ave Pittsfield where Edmond’s name will be mounted on a plaque and a French lilac tree will be planted in his honor. The burial will follow at St. Francis Cemetery, 78 Grove Street, Waterville. You are invited to attend all or some of these events the last of which will conclude by 2pm. Donations can be made in Momo’s honor to the SKILLS Memorial Fund, c/o Cary Kelly POB 65 St Albans, ME 04971.
