Athens - Earle Roy Shepardson III, 53, from Athens, Maine, passed away Wednesday April 8th, 2026.

Earle was born on July 31st, 1972, at Athol Hospital in Anthol, Mass to parents Sheri Belden (Chamberlin) and Earle Shepardson II.

He was a loyal employee of Key Appliance of Skowhegan, Maine for over 10 years. Earle was dedicated to his work and always went above and beyond no matter the job.

Earle loved to hunt and fish with friends and family. Anyone who knew him knew he loved the outdoors. You may not of had the same quick wittiness, sense of humor, or enjoyed having a drink in your hand as much as he did, but that didn't matter to Earle, he always accepted people for who they were.

Earle was predeceased by his mother Sheri. He wis survived by his Stepfather Nathen Belden of Athol, Mass. His Wife Michelle and their two daughters Melina and Hayleigh of Athens, Maine, and his son Brandon of Vermont. He leaves behind many brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews.

The list of friends and family is extensive, but a special thanks is given to Kimberly Bancroft, Josh and Candi Anderson, and Luke and Amanda White.

By request of Earle and Michelle, there will be no funeral services. Please gather with your family and friends, share memories, and raise a glass in memory of Earle. He will be sitting in his tree stand in heaven sippin' on Southern Comfort right along with ya.
