Obituary

Anson - Gower, Dustin Dennis of Anson passed away Saturday morning from a coronary. Dustin would like you to know that he got "the call from above". It was a bit earlier than expected and he wished he could stay longer; however, the call was for an appointment he could not miss but would not be returning from. His new assignment comes with a huge sign on bonus, a reunion with his father Toby, his Memé, and so many others he had not seen in a very long time. His new mission takes him to a wonderful place where he can shoot pool, fish, hunt, and game to his heart's content. He left detailed instructions to his somewhat dysfunctional yet loving family to celebrate his mission here. Dustin described himself as a husband, father, big brother, son, uncle, & friend. Dustin was fiercely protective of his family and anyone he cared for. He was a drywaller to perfection, a carpenter, and mechanic. Dustin worked in the past for Mobile Mini in Tempe, Arizona alongside his father, Cianbro Corp., & Sheridan as a general laborer. He also owned and operated Gower and Sons Automotive Repair in Anson. Dustin graduated from Casa Grande Union High School in Arizona, then drove cross country to be with his friends for graduation at Carrabec High School - Class of '98, in three days at 18 years old. He leaves behind the love of his life of 24 years, Elizabeth A. Daisey, their two sons: Toby-Nicholas & Robert Gower of Anson. His mother Leisa Hilton Bovenzi, his brother Ted and wife Charie Gower, 2 nieces; Amelia and Callie of Starks. His grandfather, Robert Mason of Anson. Father-in-Law Robert Daisey of Cape Cod, & Stepfather, Anthony Bovenzi of Hamlin, New York. And several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Dustin was predeceased by his father Toby E. Gower, his paternal grandfather Edward R. Hilton, his maternal grandmother, Diane C. Bourassa, his step Grandfather Clifford Bourassa, and paternal grandmother Sylvia Mason. Celebration of life to be held at the Garrett Schenck School Auditorium on Sunday, March 8th at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Elizabeth Daisey - Somerset Valley Remembrance Center, 19 Washburn Lane, Skowhegan ME 04976, OR Gower 56 Lloyd Road, Anson ME 04911. A special thank you to the team at R.F.G.H. who tried and worked so hard to save our Dustin.
