Donna M. Smith, 54, passed away unexpectedly on December 11th, 2025. She was born on May 12th, 1971, in Lowell, MA. Donna married the love of her life, Jody Smith, and the two of them built a home so full of love, teasing that it could've been its own sitcom—one that Donna would've watched religiously between reruns of The Andy Griffith and Supermarket Sweeps. A master of crafts, Donna loved to crochet blankets. She enjoyed music (especially her beloved Alan Jackson), Yahtzee, trucking the U.S. with Jody, sweets of all kinds, spending time with her sisters, and of course, doting on her grandkids, who always knew Grandma's house came with love, laughs, and probably a treat or two. She was predeceased by her mom, Kathrine Lobas, her brother Kevin, and her grandmother Joslin and grandmother Coldwell. Donna leaves behind her husband Jody, who will miss her endlessly; her sisters, Angela, Melanie and partner Kelley, and Linda; Brother, Billy and his wife Jessica; father Robert "Bump" McDonald; her children Joshua Coldwell and Cory and his wife Bailey Coldwell; her precious grandchildren Jasmine, Gabrielle, Bentley, Elliana, and Lucy; many nieces, nephews, and countless family members and friends. Donna lived with heart, humor, and a whole lot of love. She will be deeply missed, fondly remembered, and forever celebrated. May she rest in peace with good music, a game show, and plenty of yarn.
