Waterville - It is with great sadness that the family of Donna Marie Flor announces her passing on May 9, 2026. Donna died peacefully in her sleep at Tissues Country Estates, where she had been a resident for the past several years.
She was born in Waterville, Maine, on September 2, 1952, the daughter of Joseph and Yvette (Roberge) Massey. Donna attended Sacred Heart School and graduated from Waterville High School in 1970.
Donna was passionate about family and loved hers dearly. She was a homemaker, raising three boys who were the love of her life. Later, she spent 12 years caring for her mother when she could no longer live alone. She loved family gatherings, where she was often the life of the party with her incredible wit and sense of humor. She enjoyed being at the lake with family, whether at Snow Pond, North Pond, or East Pond. She was an incredible cook, always preparing amazing meals for her family and anyone who showed up hungry. And let's not forget her love of music, especially any song by Fleetwood Mac. She was known to break out into dance anytime she heard the song "Dreams," even in her wheelchair.
She was predeceased by her parents and her sister-in-law.
Donna is survived by her children, Chad Fecteau and his wife, Traci; Jason Fecteau and his wife, Michelle; and her youngest son, Josh Flor; six grandchildren, Aubrey, Hannah, Whitney, Devin, Tyler, and Destiny; her three sisters, Marilyn (Patrick) Roy, Janet (Bert) Corrigan, and Lori (Tom) Bigelow; her brother, Daryl Massey; and several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass for Donna will be held on June 18, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Corpus Christi Parish, Notre Dame, 116 Silver Street, Waterville. A reception will follow in the parish hall for family and friends.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Tissues Country Estates in Athens for the love and care Donna received as a resident for the past several years, and to MaineGeneral Hospice for the attention to her medical needs, as well as all the extra pampering she received during the last few months of her life. You have been a blessing.
