Donald Edward Wickett Sr., 58, of Canaan, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday April 29, 2015 at his home in Canaan. He was born November 22, 1956 in St. Stephen, New Brunswick, Canada, the son of Guy White and Isabelle Jean (Mellows) White. Donald was a beloved father and grandfather and will be deeply missed. Donald went to school in Skowhegan and Madison Schools. He was a veteran and served our country as a U.S Marine. He spent most of his working life as a woodsman and a logger. Donald liked watching NASCAR, and playing video games with his grandson Joseph. Donald enjoyed spending his time at family gatherings. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and his family. Donald is survived by his wife, Sara of 37 years of Canaan. Donald is also survived by his five children, Kathy Brown of Madison, Jenny-Rose Wickett and fiancé Bud of Madison, Donald Edward Wickett Jr. and fiancé Veronica of Dexter, Dawn-Marie Wickett of GA, and Mary-Ann Wickett of Canaan, his nine grandchildren, Joseph, Kevin, Angel, Joshua, Jeremiah, Crystal, Jeff Jr, Hunter, Marcus. He is also survived by his five brothers Richard White of Madison, David White and his girlfriend Brendella of Cornville, Jeff white and his wife Lisa of TN, Timothy White of Skowhegan, Terry White of Skowhegan, two sisters; Brenda and Tellis Fenwick of Kingfield, Jane White of Waterville, many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother Isabelle Jean White and his father Guy White and his sister Patty. A graveside service will be held on Saturday May 9, 2015 at 10 a.m. at the Fairview Cemetery in Canaan, Maine. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Smart & Edwards Funeral Home, 183 Madison Ave., Skowhegan, Maine.
