Obituary

Donald Calvin Wallace, a devoted husband, loving father, and cherished Pepere, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2026, at the age of 72. He was born on December 20, 1953. Donald was the kind of man who always put his family first. As a husband, he was steady, loyal, and deeply loving. As a father, he was a guide, protector, and constant source of support. And as Pepere, he was pure joy—always ready with a hug, a story, or a moment that made his grandchildren feel endlessly loved. Throughout his life, Donald was known for his humor, strong work ethic, big heart, and occasional inappropriate comments. He took pride in his work and in his ability to build relationships with anyone. He loved music, dancing, and spending time at Owls Head. He built a life rooted in love, responsibility, and quiet strength. He also took pride in having served his country as a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He is survived by his beloved wife, Germaine; his children, Nicolaus and spouse Valerie, and Lance; his daughters in law, Michelle and Laurie; his grandchildren, Tiffany, Travis, Jessica, Katherine, Nathan, Owen, and Olivia; and his great grandchild, Mia, who knew him as Pepere and will carry his love with her always. He is also survived by his siblings, Mary, Rick, and Gale, with whom he shared many cherished memories throughout his life; his second mother, Marti; extended siblings Melissa and Jaime; and many other family members and friends who were blessed to know him. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sally; father figure, Peter; stepchildren, Michael, Karen, and David; extended sibling, Melinda; and his best friend, "Uncle" George. Though he will be deeply missed, his legacy lives on in the family he loved so fiercely and in the countless lives he touched. His memory will remain forever in our hearts. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
